How It Works

1 Mobile App, 3 Simple Steps…

1 - Rent

Download the BCycle mobile app to create an account, purchase your access pass, and checkout your ride. The app provides a step-by-step introduction to the checkout process, so take a few minutes to read it through.

2 - Ride

On the app—with the station selected—tap the dock number of the bike you want to ride. Once removed from the dock adjust the saddle height for a comfortable fit. All trips up to 2-hours are included in the initial cost of your pass.

3 - Return & Repeat

Return the bike to any available station dock at the conclusion of your ride. Your access pass gives you unlimited checkouts over your access period (one bike per pass).

  • 2-hour individual trips are included in your membership. Any individual trips that last over 2 hours are subject to extended trip fees. See our User Agreement at checkout for full details.

  • All trips must end with the bike being returning to a bike dock at the Valentine Bike Share station. Give the bike a firm push into the dock to make sure it registers your return ;)

  • Valentine Bike Share is suitable for ages 16 and up. Our bikes feature height adjustable saddles to accommodate rider from 5’0” to 6’6”.

  • Yes! VBS is all pedal-assist ebikes as of September 2025!
