Cowboy Trailhead
Valentine, NE
Celebrating 30 years of the Nebraska Cowboy Trail
& Supporting Valentine Bike Share Electrification
This once-in-a-lifetime bike ride traverses the western end of Nebraska’s Cowboy Trail. Ride the full 108-mile, out-and-back route from Valentine to Long Pine, the shortened 52-mile route turning around in Wood Lake, or any shorter distance you want to take all. CowVal is a self-supported bike ride with aid stations at Wood Lake and Long Pine , so riders are asked to evaluate their own abilities and plan accordingly.
All registration fees go toward supporting Valentine Bike Share’s conversion to a fully-electrified bike share program to provide increased access to Nebraska’s most majestic trail. Full details and registration at the link below.
